Description: SoftLayer engineers have detected power anomalies in server room #5 in Dallas (sr05.dal01). The Emergency Response Team has been notified and engineers are working to identify and resolve the issue. As the situation unfolds, more information will be available via the emergency communication center inside the public and private portal. Due to the high volume of tickets and calls that may arise during this issue, delays may occur as engineers work to quickly and efficiently communicate all information. [update - 11:53] A PDU (power distribution unit) that feeds several rows of servers has went offline. Engineers are working to bring it back online.
[update - 11:57] Power has been restored to the PDU and servers are being powered up now.
[update - 12:07] All network devices are back online except fas16.sr05.dal01 which feeds public connectivity to racks 214,215,216,218,219, and 220. We are working to restore this device.
[update - 12:23] Power to fas16.sr05.dal01 has been restored.
